Inauguration Convocation for the 18th President of Howard University Schedule
Cramton Auditorium, Howard University
Doors open: 9:00 a.m.
Processional begins: 10:30 a.m.
Ceremony starts: 11:00 a.m.
Ceremony ends: (est) 1:00 p.m.
Platform Guests
Lulu Vere Childers Hall – 10:00 a.m.
A secure room will be available for robing and storage. Guests will be directed at Childers Hall for the processional instructions.
University and College Presidents
Frederick Douglass Hall – 10:00 a.m.
A secure room will be available for robing and storage. Guests will be directed at Douglass Hall for the processional instructions.
Howard University Faculty
Please meet in the lower part of Cramton Hall for robing. It is expected that you provide your own regalia.
Visiting Faculty

Arrival to Campus and Parking
Cramton Auditorium is located at 2455 6th Street NW; Washington, DC; 20059. This address should be used to navigate your car service to the event location, where you will be dropped at the front of the building.
Please know: there is limited metered street parking is available to guests.
However, Howard University has a few parking lots (Howard University School of Business: 2600 6th Street NW; and College of Engineering and Architecture, Howard H. Mackey Building: 2366 6th Street NW) that are in close proximity and a short walk to Cramton Auditorium.
